Updates

This week a combination of 296 new hardware devices, browsers and operating systems have been added to 51Degrees.

This week introduces Sony's the PROselfie smartphone Xperia C3 that was announced in July 2014 and is expected to be released in August 2014.

Despite having a 5.5 inches screen Sony Xperia C3 is a mid-range phone that is being marketed on its photographic potential. Mid-range phones are rarely full-HD which is usually not a problem for smaller screen sizes. The screen on Xperia C3 is 1280 x 720 pixels with 267 pixels per inch density resulting in icons, text and even images are far from perfect. In comparison, the inexpensive Moto G has a screen with 326 pixels per inch with only 4.5 inches screen size. With the Xperia C3 you are getting size, but not clarity. The Xperia C3 is running on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System. This smartphone you also receive 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card. The Sony Xperia C3 can be obtained in both dual and single SIM version and has two cameras 8MP back and 5MP front that are perfect to take photos and selfies. All this will be powered by a 2500mAh powerful battery. The Sony smartphone runs on Qualcomm MSM8926 (Snapdragon 400) SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU.

In other news, Apple has now officially scheduled a big media event for September 9th 2014. Apple SVP Eddy Cue promised the best products in 25 years. We can expect the new iPhones with 4.7 and 5.5 inches and perhaps a new wearable gadget.

Others added this week include Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT, i-mobile i-TAB DTV, Intex Aqua N15 and Walton Primo F4 among many more.
